Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation
• Arrive at Mbeya or nearby towns and transfer to Kitulo National Park.
• Orientation and briefing at the park gate.
• Short walk to the nearby meadows to enjoy the first views of wildflowers. -
Day 2 – Exploring the Flower Meadows
• Full day guided trek across the high-altitude plateaus.
• Spot unique flora such as orchids, ground lilies, and giant lobelias.
• Birdwatching opportunities: look for sunbirds, warblers, and raptors.
• Picnic lunch amid the scenic meadows. -
Day 3 – Cultural & Scenic Exploration
• Visit nearby villages to learn about the local communities and their connection to the land.
• Optional short hikes to scenic viewpoints for panoramic photography.
• Sunset stroll across the plateaus to capture golden hour views of the flowers. -
Day 4 – Departure
• Early morning walk to enjoy the crisp highland air and morning wildlife activity.
• Transfer back to Mbeya or onward destination.
